My dad was an extremely volatile, abusive alcoholic and my mom was an enabler. Being told “you’re stupid and ignorant” on a daily basis went to my head and, unfortunately, I believed it (until I was 51). That’s when I leaped out of corporate after 36 years and 49 jobs and became an entrepreneur. You’re never too old to start something new.
